Ann Healey

After achieving a first-class honours in the combined studies of Mathematics and Fine Art Painting, Ann Healey started her post graduate career as a Bond Broker for Harlow Butlers, one of the worlds largest broking companies. After two years on the European Bond Markets Floor, she decided to return to her passion for art and embarked on a yearlong round the world trip to discover new opportunities, and during her trip to Asia, was offered her first solo exhibition in Singapore at the Four Seasons Hotel. Following this she made a decision to stay in Asia and start an arts education business, offering creative workshops to adults and children. After 17 years of being in business and working with various organisations, from The Singapore Art Museum to Swatch Watches and DKNY Singapore to the Young Presidents Organisation, as well as 13 successful solo exhibitions, she decided to leave Asia and returned to the UK in 2015, to start a new career in Higher Education. As a Senior Lecturer and Course Director, she has completed her Post Graduate Certificate of Higher Education Practice, becoming a member of the Higher Education Academy, and an MSc in Professional Leadership.
